Hello Entropy Enthusiasts!
To make sure we're not overwhelming your feed while still keeping you in the loop on all things Entropy Code, we've decided to shift our updates to a once-a-month newsletter. This way, you get all the excitement without the spam! And when we do drop new videos or episodes, we could really use your help to share and spread the word to keep our community growing.
Here’s what’s new with The Entropy Code:
Acclaimed Achievements Our screenplay continues to collect accolades, recently winning an honorable mention at the 2024 Best Short Script and taking home the Best Short Script/Screenplay at the Luminary Independent Film Fiesta. These awards are a testament to the story's strength and potential, setting a solid foundation as we press forward with production.
A New Visual Frontier We've made significant strides in character development. Moving away from the "bird people" concept, our Captives have evolved. Thanks to Zine Eddine Labidi’s skillful 3D modeling, they now embody a unique moth-like aesthetic, contrasting beautifully with the butterfly-like Captors. This marks a pivotal advancement in the visual narrative of our story.
The Simulators Web Series With surprising viewership numbers for the first two episodes, we’re ramping up production. Thanks to the artistry of Oleg Dovgan and Lophophorus, we now have fully articulated puppets, allowing for more complex scenes. Vlada Rozenfeld is putting the finishing touches on an incredible set that’s sure to bring The Simulators to life in ways we’ve only imagined.
Poster Redesign The original movie poster was intricate and captivating, but a simpler approach beckoned. TSpoon, the original artist, was eager to refine it into a cleaner, more focused image that reflects the final character designs and the essence of our film.
A Pixel Art Tribute I'm currently developing an animated short that pays homage to the golden age of adventure games. Think of the classics from Sierra—like Space Quest and Kings Quest—but with a unique Entropy Code twist. This project will blend my passion for pixel art with the universe we’ve all grown to love.
Thank You
