For the past year I have been quietly building The Entropy Code, an animated sci fi short film about creativity, exploitation, and the cost of suffering inside a simulated world. The project has grown into something far larger than I ever expected. It has become a film, a universe, a community, and an ongoing creative journey that has taken shape one shot at a time.
Today I am finally ready to share something real. A fully animated thirty five second scene from the film.
This sequence has been months in the making. It represents the first moment when the world of the Captives and Captors truly comes alive. We see alien wildlife, tribal structures, brutal labor pits, and the discovery of the Essence that powers their world. It is the first finished window into the simulation that Jax and Kaila, our Entertainment Architects, exploit from the safety of the Enter Tek headquarters.
This scene is a turning point both inside the story and outside of it. It is the moment when the project stops being theory and becomes something tangible that I can finally show to the world.
The Story So Far
The Entropy Code follows two young creators inside Enter Tek, a futuristic entertainment corporation that simulates entire alien civilizations to harvest melodies born from suffering. When Kaila witnesses a funeral inside the simulation, she realizes that the content she has been extracting is the product of real conscious beings. Her decision to change the code sets off a chain reaction that neither she nor Jax can control.
This scene captures the tension that defines the entire film. Beauty and brutality. Culture and captivity. Life inside a world designed to be exploited.
Why This Matters
Sharing this scene is not only a creative milestone. It is the beginning of the next phase of the project.
My goal is simple. Grow a community of six thousand supporters so we can fund the film, finish it at a professional level, and release it to an audience that actually exists.
I have been financing the project myself, piece by piece, but finishing a fourteen minute animated film at this quality requires a small team and a realistic budget. The more people who join this journey, the more possible that becomes.
How You Can Support The Entropy Code
If you want to help bring this film to life, here are the three most meaningful ways to support the project.
1. Join the Facebook Community
This is where I share behind the scenes progress, concept art, character reveals, and development updates.https://www.facebook.com/groups/172000489327978
2. Visit the Official Website
Watch the trailer, explore the universe, and check out the galleries.https://www.theentropycode.com
3. Support the Project Directly
If you want to help fund animation and production, even a small contribution moves the film closer to the finish line.https://buymeacoffee.com/entropycode
The next year will determine everything. Whether the film launches, how far it reaches, and how strongly this world resonates with an audience.
Thank you for watching, supporting, and being part of the early group that believed in something independent, ambitious, and slightly impossible.
More soon. We are just getting started.
